In 2020, I launched the tMask initiative after realizing I could not find an N95 mask for my wife, who was working on the front lines as a physician during the early days of COVID‑19. Driven by the urgent need to protect healthcare workers, I partnered with friends and mobilized volunteers to design and distribute three‑layer fabric masks to help extend the life of scarce N95 supplies. Leveraging the HindiUSA St. Louis community, I helped organize volunteers, set up request and distribution processes, and coordinated outreach to local hospitals. Together, we raised over $2,000 and ultimately produced nearly 3,000 masks for healthcare facilities. This effort was only possible because of the dedication of an incredible team and a diverse community that came together with a shared commitment to serve and protect others during a critical time.
